This session will include a brief overview of the tools The Center provides to support teaching and assessing Iowa's Universal Constructs (creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, complex communication, productivity & accountability, and flexibility & adaptability) as part of deeper learning. Participants will explore two of our learning progressions that outline learner-facing "I can" statements and learn how the AEAs are supporting adult learning with fall Universal Construct workshops.

- Identify components of "deeper learning"
- Connect deeper learning outcomes to Iowa's Universal Constructs
- Navigate a learning progression and discuss with participants possible uses with young and adult learners
